Job Summary

RAZ Land is seeking passionate and skilled art teachers to join our creative team. You will guide children ages 3–5 and 6–12 through hands-on projects rooted in storytelling, cultural themes, and the RAZ Method. As an educator, you will foster a nurturing and respectful classroom environment where imagination thrives, self-expression is celebrated, and learning is joyful.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach & Inspire: Plan and lead engaging lessons using the RAZ Method, encouraging creative exploration and personal expression.

  • Foster Community: Build strong relationships with students and families, nurturing a sense of belonging and artistic confidence.

  • Prepare & Support: Coordinate with the studio team to ensure supplies and materials are prepped for classes, workshops, and events.

  • Demonstrate Techniques: Provide clear instruction and live demonstrations in various art forms and media.

  • Mentor & Collaborate: Supervise and guide assistant counselors, fostering teamwork and shared responsibility.

  • Maintain Environment: Set up, tidy, and maintain a clean, welcoming, and judgment-free creative space.

  • Be an Ambassador: Represent the RAZ brand at community events, pop-ups, and external workshops.

  • Hold Safe Space: Support children in transforming frustration, anxiety, or doubt into freedom of expression, using creativity as a tool for emotional resilience.


Requirements

  • Degree in Art, Design, Education, or a related creative field (Bachelor’s or Master’s)

  • Experience with children and a passion for nurturing young creatives

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Comfortable with visual storytelling, mixed media, or graphic design (tech-savviness a plus)

  • Organized, dependable, and adaptable in dynamic environments

  • Willingness to attend a RAZ Teacher Workshop to learn our method and culture

  • A calm, encouraging presence with the ability to turn challenges into creative opportunities


Job Details

  • Type: Part-time or Full-time

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, with occasional Fridays or Sundays

  • Compensation:

    • 1-month trial period

    • 3-month onboarding and training phase

    • Competitive pay based on experience and availability
