Job Title: Studio Operations Assistant

(Pathway to Office Manager)


Job Summary

RAZ Land is seeking a highly organized and proactive Studio Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our cultural arts studio. This role is at the heart of everything we do - connecting families, educators, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and meaningful creative experience.

From managing bookings and customer inquiries to supporting class logistics and coordinating events, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on efficiency, clear communication, and community-centered work. With strong performance, the position offers a direct path to becoming Office Manager.


Key Responsibilities

Studio Operations Management

  • Track and manage supplies, studio inventory, and event materials

  • Support teachers with logistics before and after classes, camps, and workshops

  • Prepare forms, rosters, and daily checklists; help keep internal files organized

  • Oversee studio upkeep and organization, maintaining a clean, welcoming space

Booking & Customer Service

  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and text inquiries professionally and promptly

  • Assist customers with website navigation, registration, and schedule updates

  • Maintain student records and update registration information in our system

  • Send welcome emails and day-before reminders for programs and events

Event Support & Coordination

  • Maintain the calendar of events and help coordinate birthdays and celebrations

  • Ensure legal waivers and documentation are completed in advance

  • Assist with taking and organizing photos / videos during events

  • Upload photos to shared drives and galleries; share links with families


Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Comfort with phones, emails, WhatsApp, and internal platforms

  • Proficiency with Google Drive, spreadsheets, and basic scheduling tools

  • Calm and solution-oriented under pressure

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools (Wix, booking platforms, etc.)

  • Able to lift and carry supplies (up to 25 lbs)


Bonus Skills (Not Required but Appreciated)

  • Experience with Wix or similar website platforms

  • Familiarity with basic photo editing or Canva

  • Knowledge of social media posting (FB, IG)

  • Ability to speak additional languages

  • Background in child-focused businesses or customer-facing roles


Job Details

  • Type: Part-time or Full-time

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, with occasional Fridays or Sundays

  • Compensation:

    • 1-month trial period

    • 3-month onboarding and training phase

    • Competitive pay based on experience and availability
