Description

Get ready to embark on an icy adventure! Brave the elements and uncover a realm of frozen secrets. There's no better time for training your dragons and building your own igloos! --- Art Around the World with Heroes & Villains RAZ 2023 summer program is designed to unite art and storytelling while teaching important life lessons. By encouraging story-building capabilities, campers learn how to channel their own inner heroes and villains into healthy forms of expression. Scandinavian folklore includes tales from Norway, Sweden and Denmark, as well as, to some extent, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. These lands share a heritage, and within their folk tales the same races of gods, goddesses, and mythical beings like trolls and giants exist, which bind them together under the banner of Scandinavian fairy tales as well as Norse Mythology. Campers will not only make these stories come to life with SUPER creative Art projects, but also make unforgettable memories and new friends from around the world. Project Schedule - TBD Field Trip – TBD Guided by professional teachers, children paint, draw, sculpt, and build up to 3 projects in a day. In a full week, kids make a gallery of up to 10 art projects! Prepare an extra space in your house for your child’s art gallery :) Week 1 - Middle East, June 12-16 Week 2 - Africa, June 19-23 Week 3 - Europe, June 26-30 Week 4 - North America, July 5-7 Week 5 - South America, July 10-14 Week 6 - Asia, July 17-21 Week 7 - Australia, July 24 -28 Week 8 - Antarctica, July 31 - Aug 4 Week 9 - Art & Astrology, Aug 7-11
