Why RAZ land
is the best choice for art lessons in West Los Angeles
RAZ Land (Robertson Art Zone) is an Art Center that teaches children and adults to tell their stories through art and unlock their creativity by using various art mediums with simple and fun teaching methods for: Painting, Drawing, Mixed Media, Designing, Sculpting, Building, and Animation. We encourage children to be happy and free in a non-judgmental environment.
Family Safety FIRST
The safety of our students, campers, and party-goers is a high priority. No child is left alone--we have gated facilities, security cameras throughout, plus sign-in/out procedure. The student-teacher ratio is 1:5 and RAZ office staff are required to be present during classes. To ensure integrity, teachers and staff must have official background checks according to the California Health and Safety Code. We don’t cut corners at larger events, but hire extra background-checked staff for your safety.

“At RAZ Art Day Camps we can have participants from around the world in the same room, with 6 different languages, being able to express stories through the universal language of art. They learn about each other, and how to work together.” Staff member- Kim G. Not only are the students diverse, but our talented staff and educators come from around the globe like Colombia, Ukraine, Israel, Ethiopia, and the United States.
RAZ Art Day Campers experience cultural and holiday art through stories, music, dancing or sports, fashion, painting, drawing, sculpting, and building with wood. In a full day, campers create up to 4 projects. In a full week, kids make a gallery of up to 12 art projects!
RAZ Art Day Camps are offered by the day, week, and multiple weeks.
My sons ages 8 and 6 attended Spring Camp and both had an amazing time there. It's a very special studio, run by a warm and caring owner. Yael and her team really sparked their creativity, and allowed my sons the space and time to create and explore. They came home each day with sculptures made from wood or clay or mixed materials, telling stories of all that they learned and cool art materials they got to try.
Glue guns! Water color pencils! Clay! Highly recommend.
